Jason N. Young

Jason Young is the CEO of Silver Bullet Security and has been working within the information security field for more than 16 years. Jason, a cyber security architect is a doctoral candidate Deakin University in Melbourne Australia with a focus on cyber security integration to GxP processes for the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career in Information Security while serving in the U.S. Military when the necessity for both offensive and defensive cyber operations was quickly becoming a reality in 2003. He fell naturally into the role with a passion for anything technology related.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland University College. He also has the relevant security certifications from the SANs institute, ISC2 and the NSA while also authoring several white papers on the industry for the SANs Institute and one article for the ISPE Magazine. Jason has also written and taught in depth training workshops to quality units on the integration of cyber security to their processes. Though Jason’s experience and training has been for the larger complex arena of enterprise level security operations, he thrives in any environment, be they small to mid-level companies as well.
