Thomas A. Jede

Tom Jede is currently the Site Head & Senior Director for the bluebird Research Triangle (bRT) Vector Manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina. Tom has been serving patients through 20 years of GMP manufacturing experience. Tom has been part of 5 global companies including Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Seqirus and bluebird bio. Tom held various technical and leadership roles as a Process Engineer, Production Supervisor/ Manager/Associate Director, Head of Manufacturing, Director of Operations, Head of 3rd Party Operations, and Site Head. Tom joined bluebird in April, 2018 to design, start-up and operate the bluebird Research Triangle (bRT) Vector Manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina.
