Charles C. Tong, PhD, Senior Vice President and Head of R&D at Suzhou Ribo Life Science Co., Ltd., is engaged in oligonucleotide drug development. Charles earned his PhD in chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology. Charles has more than 20 years of drug development working experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to his current position, he was a Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Pfizer. He served as Chair for ISPE China in 2013 and 2014. His interest has been mainly focused on pharmaceutical science, pharmaceutical development, and regulatory CMC. Charles has been an ISPE member since 2008.
