Sarah Mancini is a Director, Global API Technology, responsible for managing API technology at Zoetis. Prior to this, Sarah was a Senior Manager / Team Leader for the Global API Process Technology group within Pfizer. The group was responsible for developing innovative and strategic technologies for API manufacturing and delivering cost reduction through process improvement. Sarah started her career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 1991 as a Research Scientist in Chemical Process R&D. In this position she was responsible for technical support of manufacturing operations and process development for New Chemical Entities from clinical manufacturing through commercial introduction. Before moving into her current role, she had subsequent assignments as Associate Director, Chemical Research and Development before moving to an assignment as Associate Director, Research API, Pfizer Global R&D. Sarah has a B.A. in Chemistry from Albion College, Michigan, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
